About

Dr. Zhengyu Hu is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the National University of Singapore (NUS). He received his Ph.D. in Coastal Engineering from NUS in 2025.

His research focuses on understanding and predicting complex coastal processes through advanced computational and experimental approaches. His current research interests include multiphysics modeling of coastal systems, nature-based coastal protection, wave–mud interactions, and physics-informed computational methods for next-generation coastal engineering.
